I know this is a stretch, but I wanted to put it out there. My friend Amy is doing the Livestrong ride next weekend. That's 100 brutal Texas miles of Cancer research and education fundraising.
Amy is the one who told me I could totally do the Danskin Triathlon (and the two races after) and she is doing the half-marathon training with me. She is completely inspirational and a really great friend. (And she is, as of a couple months ago, a new knitter. She is nearing the finish line on her first scarf.)
Amy is only $300 from her fundraising goal.
Can anyone else out there help her (and the Lance Armstrong Foundation) out?
