On the shuttle to the race site. I am clearly delirious as it is only 5:30 in the morning and my wave doesn't start til 8 am.

My teammates. I couldn't have done it without them! See how the dawn is just breaking? Still an hour til race time.

Two hours, twenty-seven minutes, and thirty-one seconds later, I am a triathalete. I never knew how much I could get done before lunch. Now, there are no excuses.
Next month I am shooting for two-fifteen.
